In-Store Play

The magic of tabletop gaming is in the gathering and The Sanctum’s in-store play area is a comfortable, welcoming, and family-friendly place to play old favorites with friends or join fellow gamers for new experiences.  

Please see our events page to learn about the various gaming events we offer. If you don’t find an event that fits your schedule, we offer open gaming at our tables during any of our open hours where you can bring your own game or group! You can reserve a table or room in advance!

Here’s the details on how both scheduled and open gaming work:

The cost is $5 per person for a day pass.  However, that $5 gives you more than just a really comfy seat:

  • You will also receive $5 of store credit on a reloadable gift card.  This credit stacks and can be used to purchase anything in the store with the exception of more in-store gaming.  

  • Access to our game rental library for in-store play.  (Just let us know before you take any games off the shelf)

  • Free guest wifi access

  • And other conveniences and amenities 

Reserving Tables or Rooms

You must be 18 or older to make a reservation. Tables and/or rooms must be booked at least 24 hours in advance (our system will not allow reservations made sooner than 24 hours). Walk-ins are welcome for any free space on the day. There are no limits on the length of reservations. You can be here all day or just for an hour! Reservations have an hour “padding” before and after your chosen times, which will be indicated in red when you choose your reservation. This padding is not calculated into your reservation. When you make a reservation, you are expected to arrive and depart at the times you have chosen. If you have not arrived an hour after your indicated start time, your reservation will be canceled. Please email info@thesanctum.games if you are going to be late, so we do not cancel your reservation. Canceling your reservation can be done with the link provided in your reservation confirmation email. While we offer an array of snacks for sale, a reasonable amount of non-alcoholic outside food and beverages are welcome; please move any playmats off your table when snacking. By making a reservation at The Sanctum, you are agreeing to our Code of Conduct. Please email info@thesanctum.games if you have any questions or concerns.

Our reservation system will only allow you to reserve two tables/rooms per day. If you need to reserve more than two tables/rooms for a single day, please contact info@thesanctum.games and we will assist you.

birthdays, parties, Get-Togethers, and Large Groups

We know that organizing a party can be stressful and we want your fun to run as smoothly as possible. 

Please review these points before making your reservation:

  • You must be 18 or older to make a reservation.

  • There must be an adult present with any children younger than 14. We prefer more than one adult if there are more than two children. 

  • $5 per person Play Area Fee due at check in, applied to a Sanctum gift card according to our policy. This $5 applies to anyone staying in our playspace, even if you are only chaperoning or watching. 

  • Our reservation system will only allow you to reserve two tables/rooms per day. If you would like to request more than two tables/rooms for a single day, please contact info@thesanctum.games and we will assist you.

Please remember:

  • We are a game store, so we prefer that you are participating in game activities when using our space.

  • Before your party comes to The Sanctum, communicate with your party what room/table you are at and what time your party has that room/table. 

  • If you are ordering food (like pizza) to have with your party, please make sure someone is at the front of the store to receive the food. While we offer an array of snacks for sale, a reasonable amount of non-alcoholic outside food and beverages are welcome; please roll back any playmats off your table when snacking.

  • Even if you are only reserving one table, we appreciate an email to let us know that you will have a bigger group coming in, so we can answer any questions and make sure your party will fit in the room/table you are reserving. Please email us at info@thesanctum.games.

Fine print

  • Children 14 and under must be accompanied by a supervising adult for open play space use. See scheduled event details for any exceptions.

  • Please ask an associate before moving any tables.

  • The pass provides access all day as long as we have space and costs the same if you arrive at 11AM or 7:48PM.  

  • Any events or tournaments that offer prizes or rewards MUST be approved beforehand.

  • Taxes and other fees may apply to purchase made with store credit.

  • Open gaming may not be available on event days. Check our schedule beforehand to make sure.

  • Larger groups may wish to call ahead to check table availability.

  • We reserve the right to ask anyone to leave the play area or store for any reason, at any time we deem necessary without explanation.
