Brush with Discord

What is Brush with Discord?  I’m glad you asked. We’ve been so impressed with the submissions from our annual Brush with Glory miniature painting contest, that we wanted to keep the painting fun going throughout the year.

However, as we like to do at The Sanctum, we’re going to try to keep it more casual with a discord painting “contest” that’s all about building community and painting fun.

For October, all of our painters will all get the same mini, a mummy warrior.

All Rules and Guidelines

Prospective participants register for a spot online

  1. Must be a local member in our discord

  2. Participants will be chosen on how quickly they sign up for the 30 limited spaces.  However, we reserve the right to deny any participant for any reason. 

Come to The Sanctum and collect the mini

  1. Please wait until you receive specific confirmation that your mini is ready before you attempt to pick it up.

Paint the mini and post pictures of the mini in Brush with Discord channel

  1. At least one finished pic must be posted in the Discord

  2. Posting in-progress pictures strongly encouraged (it’s part of the fun)

Send ONE final picture of your mini to info@thesanctum.games on or before the last day of the month

  1. Email must contain your discord name 

  2. Failure to send the email photo will result in you not being included in the vote.

At the beginning of the next month, The Sanctum will create a week long discord poll where members of our discord can vote on which mini is their favorite

Everyone has fun, so everyone wins!

  1. We want to focus on building community around miniature painting rather than having competition. You will get to keep your own mini as a reward AND winners will receive a one-of-a-kind repurposed trophy! (Limited edition, super cool, completely unique! Well, cause we modify them).

Fine print

  • People who get the mini, but neglect to post any picture in the Discord will be restricted from entering future Brush with Discord painting events. 

  • Open to all ages that can post in our Discord (13+)

  • Open to employees and their families 

  • Participants have free access to Build and Paint Nights held during the painting period of the contest
