Epic Board Gaming Marathon!

Join in for an epic marathon of board gaming throughout the Extra Life weekend! Come to The Sanctum and sit down at a table, we will have a large library of games.  For an advance donation, the Game Master is offering the opportunity to bring a game from your own "shelf of shame (or opportunity )" for a tutorial playthrough!  Ask for details!

Age minimum: 14 (or 8 with accompanying adult)

Extra Life Ticket Use: Turn in tickets to be able to break the rules!  Depending on the game, you could re-roll, draw a new card, take an extra resource, move an extra space, etc.

Friday Night:

Casual Commander Chaos

Koi, Friday 6 - 10 pm

Come play Commander and donate to Extra Life! buy tickets to take extra in game actions and effects! Offering both an Archenemy inspired table and Planechase game mode, take your pick!

Age minimum: 14

Extra Life Ticket Use: Turn in one or two tickets to do a special action in your game! In addition, at the Archenemy table players can pay 1 ticket at sorcery speed to set a random scheme in motion, or at the Planechase table - Players may pay 1 ticket to enact chaos or planeswalk!

Saturday:

D&D 5E: Monster vs. Monster - Battle Royale

Jon, Saturday 10 am - 1 pm

The monsters have broken loose! In this fun event, players will take control of iconic DnD monsters and fight it out to be the last creature standing! Don't worry if your beast is slain, you get to respawn... as a stronger monster!

Age minimum: 14

Extra Life Ticket Use: For one ticket, when your monster dies you can choose where you re-enter the battle instead of randomly spawning in or you can grant yourself (or another monster) advantage on the next attack roll they make! For two tickets, you can respawn as 2 challenge ratings higher instead of the standard 1, or you are granted a random Boon or magical effect for the next round!

Star Wars Mega Game!

Jeremy, Saturday 11 am - 9 pm

Play an epic game of Star Wars Legion and Shatterpoint and raise money for the ExtraLife event, with outcomes that affect the other table! Whenever a Shatterpoint team wins a struggle, the Legion team of the same faction will gain an advantage card. When a Legion team gains 12 points to win a mission, the Shatterpoint team of that faction will be able to flip an objective to either its active or inactive side. Mega Victory Points to be awarded!

Age minimum: 14

Extra Life Ticket Use:  Legion players can bring on 200 points for every $1 ticket and 2 command cards for every $1 ticket (or $5 for a standard and legal 1000 point force with command hand.)  Shatterpoint players can bring on a strike team for $3 (2 strike teams for $5).

D&D One-Shot: Mathar's Tears

Emily, Saturday 1 - 4 pm

Join us for a beginner friendly D&D adventure! In the woodland village Mathar, children are succumbing to a sleeping sickness. Pulsing lights float around town at night and some claim a banshee has visited the houses of the suffering children. The characters come to investigate the cause of this sleeping sickness, and to save the children of Mathar. -by Matthew Moynihan, Uncaged Volume 4

Lorcana Chaos Tournament

Heather, Saturday 2- 7 pm

Play Lorcana for Extra Life! This tournament will have a normal Core Constructed format (60-card deck, 2 colors allowed, no more than 4 unique cards per deck) with a fun deck building challenge.  Decklists will be required - with a twist - you may turn in tickets or make a donation to add non-legal cards to your deck! A Mufasa - Ruler of Pride Rock playmat has been donated for the winner of the tournament!

Extra Life Ticket Use:  Donate or turn in tickets to use non-legal cards in your deck!  Examples are each additional card over the limit of 4 unique cards per deck, cards that do not match the two primary deck colors, and/or banned cards!

The Key to the Seal -RPG 5e One-Shot

Doug, Saturday 6 - 10 pm

Apocalisse is a terrifying and morally challenging journey through the End Times intended to be a fun and inclusive exploration of a fascinating setting using 5E rules that have been wonderfully adapted to Armageddon. You are humans, with virtues and vices, which survived the opening of the Seals (perhaps even after having risen from the dead) and now fight to survive in the End Times and perhaps even change the fate of the upcoming Final Battle. In this event, your group sets out to recover an artifact from the Domain of War, the Second Horseman of the Apocalypse, before The Throne, The Abyss, or one of the other powers can do the same. The fate of the remnants of humanity may depend on your success!

Age minimum: 14

Additional details (content warnings, etc): Brutality, despair, moral ambiguity, and artistic adaptation of the Book of Revelation to explore interesting themes (leave real world religion outside the table). Pregens provided. Please bring polyhedral dice (just like for D&D) and a writing utensil.

Extra Life Ticket Use: 1 ticket to reroll one player die. 20 tickets to have GM reroll one die.

Craft 'n Chat Sunday Brunch

Abigail, Sunday 10 am - noon

What is better than tasty food, good company, and an engaging craft? All three together! Bring your own project and enjoy breakfast treats and relaxing conversation with your fellow crafters.

Age minimum: 14 (or 8 with accompanying adult)

Extra Life Ticket Use: Turn in tickets for brunch items! Kringle or doughnuts, bagels with cream cheese and homemade herb butter, and homemade focaccia are planned, with tea and coffee available. Menu will be available at the event!

ExtraAnswers 4 ExtraLife Trivia

Lisy, Sunday 10 am - 6 pm (four games will be played, start times at 10 am, noon, 2 pm, and 4 pm)

Solo adventurers traverse a world ruled by the Trivia Dragon, hoping to conquer the beast with general tabletop gaming & assorted fandom knowledge.

Age minimum: 14

Extra Life Ticket Use: Pickle Treats (lifelines) will be available for one ticket each, with the chance to also win a “piece of the Dragon’s Hoard” (small extras donated by the Game Master), including one "Dragon's Heart" (a piece of the dragon's treasure - small gift card) per game!

Raccoon Sky Pirates Save the World

Raccoon hating EvilHuge Corp has kidnapped you and all of your raccoon buddies. Using your wits (and your adorable little hands) you’ve managed to escape. But now you must traverse the Corporate headquarters to stop their evil plots. . .and find trash, of course. Raccoon Sky Pirates is a fast paced, rules light game entirely based around telling the most chaotic and fun tale possible. Join us for a completely homebrew and unsanctioned adventure with everyone’s favorite furry heroes.

Map Making

Ren, Sunday 2 - 5 pm

Every world needs a good map! Learn how to make a map while participating in this Extra Life event! Instructions for creating a dice-generated map will be provided, or participants can create maps for their own campaigns. All supplies will be provided but feel free to bring any drawing supplies, coloring supplies, and D6s.
